A common responsibility of a technical communicator is to help create presentations that are not only informative, but aethetically pleasing to keep the attention of the audience.  While I am relatively fluent in using PowerPoint, I have been learning new and exciting ways to do presentations that go outside of the traditional slideshow format.  The presentation below was written as a response to the question of how one becomes part of a participatory culture in social media. I gave myself as an example, presenting my thoughts on how one can participate in any social media culture.

 

For this presentation, I used the technologies of Prezi and Screenr. These technologies are not only useful for short presentations, but can also be used for short video lessons in e-learning or m-learning.
